Nescens has created the first serum designed to clear pro-aging “zombie cells”.

For the first time, Nescens’ research team has used anti-aging molecules called “senolytics” in its cosmeceuticals. Senolytics have already been medically proven to be effective. Senolytic agents contribute to clearing senescent cells without harming healthy cells. A large number of studies have shown that targeted removal of senescent cells can contribute to the regeneration and rejuvenation of tissue.

In young tissue, senescent cells “self-destruct” through a biologically programmed process. However, as we age and as we are exposed to sources of oxidative stress, such as UV rays and pollution, the number of senescent cells gradually increases.

These cells can no longer renew themselves and regenerate tissue, but nor can they die, hence the term “zombie cells”. Instead, they secrete substances that can cause inflammation and aging, contaminating neighbouring cells and causing them to become senescent too.

When these “zombie cells” are present, skin ages faster, losing its thickness, gaining wrinkles, and becoming less dense and elastic. Nescens has created an advanced formula containing a high concentration of senolytic agents that can target senescent cells and restore tissue.

Main Ingredients

Rhododendron Ferrugineum Extract

Can clear senescent cells within tissues and prevent them from forming prematurely by protecting skin proteins from oxidative damage. It significantly reduces reddening of skin, increases its elasticity, and restores its radiance, all of which has been demonstrated in in vivo and in vitro studies.

Leaves of Rhododendron ferrugineum

Leaves of Rhododendron ferrugineum, obtained using sustainable foraging (harvesting of wild plants). The sustainable sourcing method makes it possible to obtain leaves that have been exposed to “stressful natural conditions” (extreme temperatures, wind, significant UV radiation, nutrient-poor soil, etc.). It has been proven that plants stressed through “natural means” synthesize significantly higher levels of protective molecules (adaptogens) compared to plants grown in greenhouses.

Liposomal preparation of genistein, which has been proven in a number of studies to possess a senolytic and antiaging effect. Stimulating the production of components of the extracellular matrix (collagen, elastin and proteoglycans) and improving the general condition of the skin (firmness, softness and hydration) together create an “anti-gravity” effect. Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract (Matcha Tea) Powerful and concentrated antioxidant. One of its components is epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), which helps to remove senescent cells. It also contains amino acids, polyphenols, vitamins and minerals, all of which protect against oxidative stress, control inflammatory reactions and stimulate microcirculation in the cell, activating cell renewal.
